Marisol Rodriguez was most recently a Program Officer specializing in education and state and national nonprofit associations and organizations for the Walton Family Foundation (WFF). In this role, she reviewed strategic plans and proposals, offering guidance and strategic support to nonprofit organizations throughout the country.
Before WFF, Marisol served as the Organizational Strategy Manager for the National Alliance of Public Charter Schools, where she focused on building the capacity of state based associations nationwide. Marisol also worked as a government consultant specializing in strategic planning, organization development, and facilitation for a variety of federal agencies.
Marisol holds a B.A. in Political Science and C.L.E.G. (Communications, Legal Institutions, Economics and Government) and a Master’s of Public Administration with a concentration in Nonprofit Management, both from American University.
Lisa Diaz has led a small start-up nonprofit to a mature, sustainable, and effective organization over the last twelve years. She has developed, led, and implemented countless initiatives that have allowed annual budgets to grow from $100,000 to almost $6.5 million. Lisa led and implemented different organizational structures to ensure the most effective and efficient use of organizations’ human capital. Lisa has extensive experience translating strategy into tangible results.
In addition to her experiences with nonprofits, Lisa has a background in leading alumni grassroots organizing efforts and major gift fundraising for higher education institutions.
Lisa is a strategic thinker who can drill down into practical application. She has worked with teams to make strategic decisions and create implementation plans that can be measured and managed. Lisa holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Political Science and Economics and a Master’s of Arts degree in Education Administration, both from Central Michigan University.
