Team Work

business planning

Most leaders claim to have effective teams, but how do they know? Teams are the foundation of your work and the engine that drives your organization. We help teams see their collective power, understand and appreciate their individual differences, and move forward on a clear and aligned path.

In a nutshell:

  • Team Building has a bad rap as being the “touchy-feely” part of organizations. But did you know that research shows that there is a direct correlation between how teams interact with each other and how effective they are. Whether there are current issues that need to be discussed and worked through, or your organization simply wants to build strong team dynamics, team-building workshops can inspire and set the tone for moving forward in a more effective and efficient manner.
  • Organizational Design is often overlooked in organizations. Most of us work in a hierarchical organizational structure, never stopping to wonder “how could this be done differently?” After you understand your new strategic goals, it is critical to reassess your organizational structure to ensure that you have the best model in place for implementation success. We love helping organizations see the benefits and risks associated with a variety of organizational models. Ultimately, we make recommendations as to how your organization could use other options to ensure your staff’s work is aligned to your organization’s mission.
  • Intentional Culture Building is more than establishing “Casual Fridays” (although that is part of it!). It is about having a shared value system for your organization. When someone new walks in the door, what is the “feeling” you want them to have? Culture, when not specifically defined, is whatever you let people get away with. This can quickly kill morale and productivity. Alternatively, when team members feel valued, supported, and heard (all parts of a healthy culture) higher productivity ensues. Not sure where to begin? We can help with that!
